Some of our various extracurricular faffing abouts.
BOWIE BY BICYCLE
James had always wondered what the meaning was behind David Bowie’s surrealistic masterpiece Life on Mars? So when a lightning bolt of inspiration strikes, he left everything behind to cycle 2700 miles across Europe following the song’s lyric, ‘From Ibiza to the Norfolk Broads,' to discover what life, love and Life on Mars? really mean. The idiot.
CRUDE CREATURE
During lockdown Toby created a line of ironic animal t-shirts. He’s flogged a few thousand of them to caring homes and if you look hard enough amongst the flora and fauna of East London you’ll probably spot some in the wild.
THE WORLD’S BEST JOKES
When someone asks you to write a joke book, how can you refuse? Toby and I spent our lunch breaks trying to make up 600 nose-snorters about chickens, Shakespeare, testy octopuses and romantic relationships with walls. As the title implies, these could be the funniest jokes in the world. Maybe.
